Order of the Arrow Nominations and Elections

Troop 909 has been invited to hold nominations and elections to the Order of the Arrow, the BSA’s National Honor Society. The OA recognize those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. They promote camping, responsible outdoor adventure, and environmental stewardship.

Eligibility requirements for the OA include:

• Rank of 1st Class or higher
• 15 nights of camping 
• Scoutmaster approval from Mr G. To exemplify living out the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives; this means they haven’t had discipline problems with the troop in the past 6 months

Interested boys troop members should contact Trail and Mr. Nicholson by 2/9 to determine eligibility.
